This is the theme song for our play/musical "The Gleam in Their Eyes". It is sung by the retired rock icon, music exec and restaurateur Joan Slick who owns and operates this establishment where music biz people hang out. This song has a dark, mysterious feel that goes along with the play/script. An up-and-coming rocker, his groupie girlfriend and their friend hatch a plan to get even and get rich! Rocker Colin feels betrayed by his brother/manager and is willing to commit the unthinkable to get pay-back. It's about fame fortune, and the lust for it all--That's "The Gleam In Their Eyes"!
