The little Jamaican bastard child, Ricky London, son of wealthy land owner John London, has apparently found favor with the fierce old pirate captain after their ship was over run by pirates and he was taken captive. On a still, clear moonlit night the old pirate captain quizzes little Ricky on navigation and the constelations, asking the questions in various languages. The young boy answers all the questions correctly in the appropriate language. The old pirate is amazed again and smiles. He puts his arm around the boy and says, in French, "Very good son!"
